Directions
Making the Dough:
- Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt. Mix them together until you form a dough. If the mixture is too sticky, add a little more flour.
- Knead the Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes, until it's smooth and elastic.
- Rest the Dough: Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Preparing the Toppings:
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it's browned. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
- Prepare the Bacon: In the same pan, cook the bacon until it's crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain.
Assembling the Pizza:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 220°C (fan 200°C).
- Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll the dough out into a 12-inch circle. Place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Apply the Base: Spread a generous amount of Spicy Rye's Tomato Ketchup over the base of the dough.
- Add Toppings: Distribute the cooked ground beef, bacon, prosciutto, and salami evenly over the ketchup. Finally, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
- Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
